Bruce, an USPTA-Tennis teacher, born on Long Island, New York, went to Europe 25 years ago, to help develop tennis camps. There he met me, a school teacher from Munich, Germany. We got married and Bruce stayed with me in my hometown.    

About fifteen years ago, while vacationing and visiting our uncle in Sarasota, we fell in love with the beautiful Sarasota area and its barrier islands, Siesta Key and Casey Key. We bought an island getaway on Siesta Key, where we now reside.

Yearning for tropical breezes and a more relaxed lifestyle, we tried to spend as much time as we could here, but eventually we got tired of flying back an forth between Munich and the US, so in 2000 we decided to make Sarasota our permanent home. And the longer we live here, the more we love it.

We were very lucky to find this unique property in Nokomis and turned it into a little vacation paradise.
