The closest beach, "Nokomis Beach" on Casey Key is only half a mile away. You cross the bridge to Casey Key and you are right at the beach. There is a lot of parking, a concession stand and bathrooms. There are absolutely no high rises on Casey Key, one more reason why this beach is so special.

But this is not the only beach in the area, for example:

	North Jetty, just minutes south of Nokomis Beach on Casey Key - a great place for a picnic, fishing and watching the pelicans and the boats go out into the Gulf. When you are lucky, you might even see a manatee swim by.
	20 minutes north is the famous beach of Siesta Key
